Speaking at the Model of Care Forum 2025, he underscored the sector's significant contributions. Implementing the modern healthcare model led to a 40% decrease in premature deaths from chronic diseases and a 50% reduction in traffic accident fatalities. Al-Jalajel also announced the renaming of the Modern Healthcare Model to the Saudi Healthcare Model. He highlighted the model's achievements during 2024, noting that it benefited over 28 million individuals through various healthcare facilities. He also cited the sector's success in improving the heart attack treatment rate to 70% within the target timeframe, praising the significant role of healthcare clusters across the Kingdom in proactively meeting society's needs.
Al-Jalajel stressed that leadership support has been fundamental in enabling Saudi Arabia to develop a top-tier healthcare model that attracts global attention. He underlined the priority of human health and the capability of the national healthcare workforce to achieve exceptional results due to this support and ambitious vision, paving the way for significant changes in the healthcare sector.
